Does Sandy D’z Minnie Bar offer the sale of alcohol?

Unfortunately no. Miss Minnie is a dry Bar, we serve the alcohol/beverages that have been purchased by you. This means you get to buy directly from the supplier of your choice with no costly markups which is already an added saving for you!


Do you have Public Liability insurance?

Yes! We are fully insured to cover you and ourselves.


Are your bartenders RSA trained?

Yes. All our bartenders are RSA trained and hold a current certificate.


Where are you based and how far do you travel?

Sandy D’z Minnie Bar is based in Orange, NSW. We love a road trip and will tow anywhere over the Central West Region of NSW.


Do you do table service?

Not as a rule as we prefer to serve straight from Miss Minnie. This means your guests get to leave their table and mingle. Our staff do roam around to collect empty glasses but only at our convenience however, if this is a specific requirement by you we may need to have extra bar staff.


What if our event is on Council grounds?

No problem! However you will need to obtain the relevant permits from Council. We will need to see a copy of documentation of approval prior to your event.


What deposit is required?

A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking to secure your date.


Do you charge cancellation fees?

Yes we do. Once you have paid the deposit on your booking, we save the date, meaning that we do not consider or take any other bookings for that date regardless of the number of enquiries that we may receive.


What happens if it rains?

No refunds are due in the event of bad weather unfortunately! Changes regarding venue and agreed plans must be advised to us no later than 3 hours prior to your event commencing


How long do you guys need to set up?

We require at least 1 to 2 hours. We will liaise with you leading up to your event to ensure we are set for service well before the festivities.


Does Miss Minnie require power to operate?

Miss Minnie has two options. She can plug into your 10A or 15A via our extension lead. If your event is off the grid, she can run off a generator at an extra added cost


Do you serve Tap beer?

Yes we do! We are currently in the process of fitting out a quality keg set up, stay tuned!


How much alcohol do I need for my event?

It can be a very daunting process trying to estimate how much alcohol you will need to purchase. We can offer some online tools to help you with this task. Having too much is better than too little and customise your drinks selection wisely, get bang for your buck!


How much does it cost to hire Miss Minnie?

Every event is unique so we prefer to customise a package that best suits your needs, budget and requests.

Packages are based on:
  • Number of guests
  • Location
  • Number of hours required for service

Other things we should mention…

  • All beverages are required to be kept chilled prior to our arrival. We then take over and ensure your beverages remain chilled via our tubs of ice and fridges
  • Your supply of beverages need to be close by Miss Minnie for restocking, quick access and convenience for our prompt service to your guests
  • Miss Minnie requires flat ground for set-up and service as well as clear access for set-up and pack- up
